Welcome to Shady Bend Campground!
Shady Bend Campground lies along the tranquil, winding banks of the Kalamazoo River. Our large and spacious sites offer 3,000 feet of water frontage, accommodating tents to full-size motor coaches. We offer daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates.
Our sites offer plentiful grass areas, cement patios, fire pits, picnic tables, water and 20/30 amp electric service. Our modern and clean restrooms are equipped with flush toilets, and hot showers. We also offer complete laundry facilities, LP Gas weighed/metered, dump station, and honey wagon service for camping stays of 7 days or longer. The campground has a camp store, complete with ice, bait and firewood for purchase. In addition, we offer canoe trips, tube trips, and fishing.

*** With all our regrets, we are sad to inform you that Shady Bend Campground is Permanently Closed. Due to the Oil Spill July 27, 2010. We would like to thank all of you who have camped, canoeing or tubing with us the past 22 seasons. Even though the past season in a half we were closed, we were still answering the phones inorder to help you find other accomadations. It was a very difficult decison to make but not knowing when we could open again our choice was to sell our home, liquidate Shady Bend and move on to the next chapter of our lives. We have taken with us the greatest memories, a heartful of love and friendships that we would of never had if it hadn't been for YOU and Shady Bend. Our wishes for you are to Travel Safe, keep making memories and keep the campfires burning. We will keep you in our hearts, memories forever.
